Whitehouse Flexible Tubing

PTFE Hose Assemblies

Our multi purpose Teflon Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) range of hose assemblies are made of a plastic resin which is known to be virtually inert to all chemicals and solvents. This makes it an ideal solution for fluid transfer applications involving pure water or aggressive and hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures and movement, food handling, or where hygiene is paramount. PTFE is resistant to fuming Sulphuric and Nitric acids, Amines, Antioxides and Methanol. It is only known to react with elemental Alkali metals (molten or in solution), Fluorine and Chlorine Trifluoride.

The stock range of PTFE hose is available with either a smooth (1/4” to 1/2”) or convoluted bore (1/4” to 1”) with a stainless steel overbraid. Bore sizes above 1” are available on request with extended ranges of large bore PTFE core hoses available offering further solutions for applications that demand a resilient hose.

Our PTFE hose can withstand working temperatures ranging from -60°C to +260°C.
